Answering “Islam and the Crucifixion of Jesus”

In Islam it is clear that Prophet Jesus a.s. was never killed nor crucified.

And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah .” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.(4:157-158)

The Historical evidence:

I should mention it clearly that a person was made to resemble Prophet Jesus a.s. Every evidence put forward by the critic was actually about a person who was mimicking Him.

1.Eyewitness sources:

It was all about that person who was made to resemble Him.

2.Medical evidence:

According to critic,

First, in Jesus’ pre-crucifixion experience in the Garden of Gethsemane, the Gospel of Luke reports that Jesus sweated “great drops of blood” (Luke 22:44).  According to Alexander Metherell an M.D. and Ph.D., “This is a known medical condition called hematidrosis.” 6  He later acknowledges that tremendous stress like the kind that Jesus suffered could have produced this effect.

.

Actually this condition totally supports the fact that Jesus a.s was not crucified or killed. This was another person who was made to resemble him.

And remember, being stressful is not a quality of God who could do anything.

  1. Hematidrosis, the condition related to extreme level of stress, does not suit god or anyone who is claimed to be a His form.It does not suit anyone who knows He is eternal.
  2. Hematidrosis actually suits a person, for whom the condition was extremely stressful. The person who was instantly made to resemble Prophet Jesus a.s,who was to be crucified at that time, must be experiencing high levels of stress. He was the person who was unable to convey the current happening, who was unable to convey that he is not the right person.
  3. Hematidrosis and stress are totally opposite to faith and courage. They do not suit the Character of Jesus a.s

Conclusion:

This medical evidence is enough to conclude these points.

  1. The one who was crucified was NOT God or His form.
  2. The person crucified at that time, experiencing high levels of stress, was the person who was instantly made to resemble Prophet Jesus a.s.
  3. The person crucified could not be a messenger even.

God was not crucified,Jesus a.s. was not crucified, but it was another person who was made to resemble and so he was rightly stressful AND only for that person, being stressful is justified.

3.Early statements of Belief:

The critic argues about the verses of bible, ignoring that the Christians themselves approve the interpolations.

4.Transformation of Disciples and emergence of Church:

The Bible is interpolated.

5.Failure of alternate theories:

It is wrong that the alternate theories are failed.

The Muslims believe that a person was made to resemble Prophet Jesus a.s..He was crucified. The medical evidence of Hematidrosis supports the fact as such a person must be extremely stressful.
